OCAPL New Members Approved!
New memberships have been appproved, thank you! See you next month~
OCAPL currently holds their Monthly Meetings on the first Monday of each month from September to April at the Oklahoma History Center, 800 Nazih Zuhdi Drive, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73105.
Social hour starts at 5:00 and the meetings begin at 6:30. OCAPL provides these meetings at no cost to our members. Guests are welcome to attend at a cost of $30.00. If you would like to become a member of OCAPL you may apply online. Cost of membership is $125.00 per year with renewals due in January. If you are applying after July1st, we have prorated the dues to $80.00 for your first year of membership.

The Oklahoma City Association of Professional Landmen (OCAPL) is hosting the first annual OCAPL 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run at the Regatta Park on the Oklahoma River as a member benefit on October 23rd, 2016. The race will begin at 2:00 pm with an out and back course beginning immediately west of the Chesapeake Boat House. In addition to the race itself, we plan to have family friendly activities for all ages.

OCAPL is affiliated on the national level with the American Association of Professional Landmen and was recognized in 1993 and 1997 and 2006 as the AAPL Local Association of the Year as well as other Association awards. In 2007, AAPL awarded OCAPL members Jack Sweeney with the Lifetime Achievement Award, Candace Robinson the Best AAPL Director Communication Award, and Brian Hennigan the Best Committee Award for his service on the CPL Certification Committee. In 2013, Phil Jones was awarded the AAPL Lifetime Achievement Award and in 2014 OCAPL received the Best Community Service Award. In 2015, we are well represented with the Lifetime Achievement awarded to Jack Richards, Landman of the Year awarded to Julie Woodard, Best Newsletter ~ Large Association, Best Member Communication awarded to Marita Morris and back to back Best Community Service Award!
First Monday from September - April, Social Hour at 5pm, Dinner at 6:30pm. Included in membership fee, guest fee is $30.

OCAPL maintains one of the highest continuing education programs available to AAPL members by offering credits for monthly luncheons and meetings. Additionally, OCAPL sponsors several annual programs such as The Weekend Take Off and HAPL Webcast which offer our members the opportunity to receive numerous continuing education credits.
OCAPL is giving a helping hand to the local community by participating in volunteer events that benefit Infant Crisis, Regional Food Bank, Youth Services, Skyline Ministries, Bella Foundation just to name a few.
Fishing tournament, Sporting Clays, Golf tournament and the Christmas Event are all well attended!
Newsletters can be found online and they are published 8 times annually, featuring legislative updates, regional director's report, and entry forms for special events.
