PRESIDENT'S MAY/JUNE LETTER
Dear OCAPL Members,
As we move into the second half of the year, I am reminded of how fortunate we are to be part of an inspired and engaged community of land professionals. Your participation, volunteerism, and commitment to our industry continue to make OCAPL a premier organization.
We have several upcoming opportunities to connect, learn, and give back:
· Girls Night Out - June 25
· Infant Crisis Center Volunteer Event - July 23
· Teresa Portwood’s Retirement Social - July 23
· Sporting Clays Tournament - August 28
· Member Meeting and Bylaws Vote - August 31
I encourage each of you to mark your calendars. These events provide excellent opportunities to strengthen professional relationships, support our community, and help shape the future of our organization.
A particularly significant milestone this summer will be the retirement of Teresa Portwood after many years of dedicated service to OCAPL. Teresa's professionalism and unwavering commitment have helped shape the organization we know today. While we will certainly miss her daily presence, we look forward to celebrating her contributions.
As Teresa prepares for this well-deserved next chapter, please know that the officers and board are working diligently to ensure a seamless transition of her responsibilities. We are focused on maintaining the high level of service and support our members have come to expect while positioning OCAPL for continued success in the years ahead.
Many of our members will also be attending the AAPL Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City, and I look forward to connecting with fellow land professionals from across the country. The Annual Meeting is always a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen industry relationships, and bring new perspectives back to our membership. Thank you for your continued support of OCAPL and for your commitment to advancing our profession.
Sincerely,
Dianna Ray OCAPL President
