OCAPL January President's Letter

Welcome back and Happy New Year! I hope each of you had a restful break and are ready for all the exciting opportunities OCAPL has in store for 2025.

First, I would like to extend a sincere thank you to our outgoing president, Dan Dickensheet.  His hard work, as well as those before, have set a strong foundation for OCAPL and I am grateful for the path that he has helped pave. I know we all appreciate the time, effort, and passion he has put into ensuring the success of our organization.

I also want to take a moment to highlight the difference OCAPL was able to make in the community last year. Through your generosity, we were able to support several organizations, including Rebuilding Together, Susan G. Komen, Cavett Kids, Folds of Honor, Rookie League Foundation of OK, St. Jude, OERB, Tenaciously Teal, and many others. These donations were made possible thanks to the incredible commitment of our membership.

I am incredibly proud of all we have achieved together as an organization. It’s your dedication, creativity, and passion that not only drive OCAPL’s success, but also fuel progress within our industry. As we step into the new year, we are excited to welcome new members to the board, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to further enrich the experiences we offer to our membership. Be sure to stay tuned for upcoming events, as we have some exciting changes planned.

We are excited to see continued growth in 2025. Please renew your membership and invite others to join so we can continue to provide invaluable experiences and events as we have in past years. I am confident that we will continue to push boundaries and achieve great things together.

I look forward to working closely with each of you, learning from your ideas and insights, and supporting you as we take on new challenges. Together, we will not only reach our goals but set new ones that inspire and drive us forward.

Thank you for your commitment to our shared mission. Here’s to a year of new beginnings, bold ventures, and exciting achievements.

Sincerely,

Clarke Richards, CPL
